Christmas in Heaven

For only six or seven years There was no crying and no tears Only mommies holding babies And kissing away fears The only monsters were under beds Not burning pictures in others heads Now daddy's holding her broken heart A perfect families torn apart She can almost hear her babies voice Saying through the pretty lights... Oh I'm in Heaven now Mommy there's angels all around Jesus is holding my hand Waling through lovely surf and sand Don't cry for me, one day you'll see how beautiful it is to spend Christmas in Heaven Empty hospital bed She was too weak, the doctor said Something wasn't right Her heart fell to the war of red and white She used to play with you all day You'd brush her and french braid But the locks all ran away Someday you'll hear her say... Oh I'm in Heaven now Mommy there's angels all around Jesus is holding my hand Waling through lovely surf and sand Don't cry for me, one day you'll see how beautiful it is to spend Christmas in Heaven He couldn't see another way And nothing could make him stay Too many times they broke his heart His world was all but torn apart He wrote through tears to let her know If you're reading this know I'm singing to you now... Oh I'm in Heaven now Mommy there's angels all around Jesus is holding my hand Waling through lovely surf and sand Don't cry for me, one day you'll see How beautiful it is to spend Christmas in Heaven
