Christmas List

Dear Santa,

I know you're very busy

Since it is Christmas season,

But if you have a moment 

Please listen, I have a reason!

Around this time of year

There is magic in the air,

People's smiles, laughter, and joy

Can be found everywhere,

My Christmas list this year

Consists of only one thing,

That the sound of joy expressed at Christmas 

Will always ring!

The sound of joy shall ring in summer, spring, and fall;

It shall ring to the old,

It shall ring to the small.

Now that you know 

What I want this year,

I will let you go back to work

Bringing happiness and cheer;

I know you'll be busy,

But please don't forget,

To spread the joy throughout the seasons

So my Christmas list shall be met.
