The Chromatic Lotus Flower

A lotus flower has many meanings,

some that I could list on.

Yet this flower is strong with new beginnings,

whose mucky, trying story has been forgone.

This unique Lotus flower,

stems from the mud.

Unlike the average sunflower

it’s beginning dark with crud.

Obviously the flower hit obstacles,

forces that seemed almost impossible.

To its misfortune problems were chronicle,

it’s growth had to change for life to be docible.

Time passed,

the water became clearer.

A beautiful outcast,

and others became dearer!

As it surfaced to the world,

it became a developed scholar.

Since life always seem whirled,

each petal differed in color.

It still fears it’ll lose the willpower,

that it’ll lose the fight.

So the lotus uses its brainpower,

to shine vibrant in the sunlight!

One would assume,

that this story has come to an end.

when really it will thrive and resume,

until there are no more petals to descend.

Now would you believe,

that this vibrant flower is a she?

I can understand how you’d misconceive,

that this chromatic lotus is me.
