Church Problems
Every week it is the same thing
I pray to God that they don’t blame me
Fall before the King in shame
Take these sins, I pray thee
They starin’ at me, talkin’ ‘bout me, judging all of my flaws
When the weed inside their glove compartment is the sin that they’ve caused
They know not what they do
Blinded by the few
Snicker and laugh at me, just to go back and sleep with the enemy
I pray to God they don’t blame me
Pray to God they won’t hate me
What’s done in the dark, shall come to light.
That’s true shit
Ain’t it G?
Man I don’t know anymore
I might as well pack up and leave
Preacher preach the word on Sundays and on Mondays commit adultery
Why you lookin’ at me
Worried ‘bout me
Don’t you have your own problems?
Oh, that’s right, you think putting on a fancy dress for one day is supposed to solve them
Man, I wish they wouldn’t blame me
I’m starting to care less whether or not they hate me
‘Cuz every word I have written is divine proof that truth is key
She says “Thank you, Jesus! You’re the one I adore!”
But every day, she curses more and more
He says “Fix me, Father! I love you so!”
Only to go out the very next day and become an even bigger hoe
I know the Church isn’t perfect
And probably never will be
But don’t pretend to be perfect just to make each other envy
Heck! Help me with my problems
Don’t talk about my problems
Criticizing me when you’re the one walking out of strip clubs
Then on Sunday mornings, act all holy and give out a billion hugs
Man! Squash all that!
I don’t have time for it!
Might as well say that He shouldn’t have died for us.
We’re the Church
We’re supposed to set an example
This is just a taste of your own medicine
You know, a little sample
We’re a peculiar people
Not some randoms on the street
We’re the ones they desire to meet
But, all of that has changed
We’re disappointing God every day
With a fake ass repentance
Hoping that He will put it in the past
Some of you are so far gone, you don’t even realize that that routine won’t even last
I really, really hope you all don’t blame me
Ya’ll hate me? That’s cool…
But, the truth is the truth
If only ya’ll knew...
