Cigarette

I choke you down the same way I choke down smoke from a cigarette.

I hate the way you taste

I hate the burning sensation you leave in my throat.

but the way you make me feel

the calmness you provide

makes up for the excrements you leave in my lungs.

I secretly love all the damage that comes with being yours

I claim to not be an addict

I simply love the feeling I get from being yours.

although, I'm not sure I could stop at any time.
