Cinderblock Buddy

My cinderblock buddy died over 20 years ago.

You are just the mere shell of what I used to know.

You are hollow heartless and cruel.

You are stupid,  juvenile, and a fool.

Hello cinderblock buddy!

I've traveled from the future to the past,

to inform you that our love did not last.

I gave the man you became ample time,

but his love still became no longer mine.

Hi there cinderblock buddy!

Wish you never grow up,

so we could play hide and seek in the same spot, and kiss till we're both caught,

then sit on the front stoop and wait for the ice cream truck.

Hello cinderblock Buddy,

sharing with was always the best.

Your Chips I would take would taste better then all the rest.

Hello cinderblock buddy,

The new You doesn't sacrifice for me.

How I love you soo much,

when I see you sweating on Oceans Pacific,

riding Gallantly just to come see me.

Hi there cinderblock buddy,

how we wish to be together forever,

as we would hold each other hands in the fall,

while we shiver.

Goodbye cinderblock buddy,

I must return to the future,

where we are now strangers in passing,

no longer reaching and grasping,

to the solid foundation of our cinderblock past.
