Cinderella

Once upon a time,

There was a girl named Cinderella,

Yes she lived in a home,

Where she cleaned,

Down to the last comb.

She had two evil step-sisters,

With a new mom who's bitter.

They all rushed to the ball,

When the prince called.

Cinderella got stuck cleaning,

Missing out on the fun,

Her step-sisters raved,

Of dancing with the prince.

Mommy dearest told Cinderella,

She was off to clean the castle,

To please the king,

In hopes one of her daughters,

Would get a ring.

While cleaning the castle,

Cinderella ran into the prince,

Taken by her beauty he stopped,

Striking up conversation,

Till the clock struck twelve.

Months went by,

Letters written.

The prince finally got the courage,

To propose marriage.

Cinderella said goodbye to the past,

Excited to see if the future would last.

Not all would be perfect,

But it sure happened fast.
