Cinderella

Nothing seems to cover my pain as I wipe down the window pane Father if only you were here with me instead of every one waiting on me To clean to cook to iron and to obey Is this all that life offers me to be a maid and wish upon thee To cry and feel disrespected And make this house spotless and respected Or thrown in the shadows and be unnoticed As everyone else loses focus That's only because people don't know nothing
