Cinderella Is Me

I'm so conceited.

Cinderella reminds me of me,

Instead of torn dresses

I have ripped jeans

She has always been surrounded by buckets and bubbles

So have I

I never had an evil stepmother,

but those nasty homeowners that had me surrounded by buckets and bubbles sure were

Poor Cinderella,

She never thought she could get a second chance by looking at her family-torn dress

Neither did I,

After looking at my poor, damaged family

Then Cinderella's godmother came to do her bippity boppity boop

I got the "beep beep, you got mail" boop

Cinderella went to the ball to dance and know what her future would be

I was accepted to a college knowing that I could do great for my small kingdom

The prince searched for her for hours

I searched for scholarships and grants

He found her queen

She found her precious, glass slipper

I hope that one day

Just one

That I can have my glass slipper.
