Cinderella's Shoe

Romeo should have met Juliet

in the guise of an Asses' pelt.

Maybe then the streets would not

have bled for lust and orgasmic desire-

that short spurt followed by an

anticlimatic ending.

No reality can exceed the pain of expectations un-met,

Cinderella's shoe had the only happy ending.

Baptized in blood and consumated in earth.
