"Circumcision" of the heart

Circumcision

Phil. 3:3

“We are the circumcision

and worship God in spirit,

rejoicing in Christ Jesus.

No confidence in the flesh”.

Not filled with indecision,

that we did inherit,

when we lived without Jesus

even though we did our best.

Then I followed my old nature

and did the good I needed

to be justified to self

and feel satisfied.

The things I gained were failure

and now are superseded

by the Gift, I have through Jesus

when He offered His Best with might.
