Circumspection

There was a man

That wrote but not

He believed that stories could be changed

Though the man could not

He wrote stories about stars, planets, galaxies

But wrote but not

He wrote stories about losses, laughs, loves

But wrote but not

He wrote stories about kings, princes, peasants

Yet still wrote but not

There was a man

That inspired but many

They believed that his stories could change

Though the man believed not

They read stories of rights, wrongs, falls

That inspired but many

They read stories about trials, truths, tears

That inspired but many

They read stories about dictators, dominators, deserters

Yet still inspired but many

Until one day he wrote once, only once

They were the words of Truth

They were the words of Change

They were the words of Pain

There was a man

That wrote but once

He believed that one story could never change

Drugs, disease, disastor, depression.

Though he changed a lot.
