Circus
Welcome to the American Circus
Politicians on Display
For you to look upon with disdain
They are creatures who shift
To fit
Our Desires
Here to bring you higher
On Esctasy
The drug that runs our Society
We are the lambs
Who go "baa" or "nee"
"Nah" or "Yeah"
Lead on the leash by
The Wolf
Disguised as the 'friendly' Farmer
We think ourselves the Tamer
of the Tiger
That wishes to consume our
Individual thought
Some of us forget
That Cute, Furry, Feline
Like to Dine on our Flesh Divine
With a smile that Tiger
Tells us sweet Lies
Politicians with teeth 'n claws
Hide them all
To get what they want
Without a thought
Of us All
Some would say...
"They do take in consideration of our thought"
...Individually?
No,
We're labeled digits to them
Like livestock
Don't look shocked
They just politely don't mention it
You don't have to agree with me
Enjoy the Show
For its all flashing lights
And Petty Stunts
Welcome to the American Circus
For we are ALL on
Display
For the World
To look upon with
Disdain
