A Circus Animal Can't Survive in the Wild

Divulgate,

These revelations of mine,

So that I may pass some time,

Til the dew left from sweat,

Created by fear,

Causing this ink to smear,

Suppressed,

Are my beliefs,

A sell out to the thiefs,

Of my individuality,

When in actuality,

This is what they thought of me,

Renagade,

To what is assumed to be right,

Quelling my fight,

A piece of machinery,

An advancement in technology,

That can never be used,

Disengaged,

Sent away on an escape,

Peeling away like adhesive tape,

Sticking to what I want,

Existing so nonchalant,

If only I had this sooner,

Enlightened,

Freed from heaven and hell,

Being in the present and well,

Left to think for myself,

Left to sink by myself,

Into a world hurt, abused, anew,

Muddled,

Though despite my freedom,

I only left Eden,

With Adam by my side,

I still have to hide,

That I have no idea who I am, so I lie.
