Cirrus
I wonder, what do the clouds see,
In a world far, far away from me?
Do they see the shadows they've cast
Or their cleansing rains that don't really last?
What do the clouds see?
They're in a world far above me,
And I wonder, do they see calming hands,
Or the ones that destroy, broken down as the sands
Do they see the inward battles that each person faces,
Or do they only see how we hold our angry words like maces?
Do the stereotype the humans, saying we only fight a lot,
Or do they recognize the humble ones, still living under sot?
I wonder, what do the clouds see?
They see so much more than me.
Are they angry and mad,
As we often are,
Or are they happy, yet sad,
More confused at what we are?
What should the clouds see?
