Cities Get Lost In You

There are so many

cities with brighter

lights than I

I know my attempts are futile

my honking horns

fall on deaf ears

so I’ll just keep

crying

my tar tears fall

between pavement

cracks

to me you are the world

and I am just one of the cities

getting lost in you
