The City

Bright lines shine all around They climb forever into the sky Noises rush past in a whirl and blur Everything runs together Everything is moving, constantly going places The only way to go is higher Adrenaline fills your body as you see the potential You build yourself up and take in the city You venture into the world, taking that chance You set all your fears aside You know you mightn't be able to make it And yet you rise and answer your calling
