The City

Strangers blasting music,

avoiding

unwanted conversation

Pigeons on the sidewalk,

seeking a trace of food

The smell of

hot dogs and roasted nuts

City lights flashing

across my eyes

Infinitely counting the

number of yellow taxi cabs

The train right around

the corner

Billboards in all

variety

Colors reflecting those

of a rainbow

People.Each with a story

A story that is

bound to get lost in the city.
