City Of Misery

Some call it "The Chi" or "Chi City" maybe "The Windy City" , I'll call it what ever but never chi-raq
See, there's much more to the city than running around with the gat
I have so much faith in the city I call home , but it seems all the others lost hope *pow* .... Then gone .
I want to say there's a brighter future ,but  when it's nice it ain't nice out
Gang bangin' rivalries see one another then, it's light out
Getting clout , got the clout that's what the "chi" is about
You can't win in the Windy City if no one does anything , on the news,a mom is crying , the next day is the same thing. Grown men , women , but it's usually  the youth , it's happens so much it's an everyday thing ... That's just the sad truth.
Is anyone going to do any thing ?
Is there anyway to change this?
Does anyone care ?
Well , I guess no  I just live in "Chi-raq" and these Are "fallen soldiers".
Protecting our city . What kind of shit is that ?
