a drumming beat
a thousand feet
a million hearts pounding
in chorus
horns blare
neons flare
the city trembles
amorous
we are the restless
penniless
fearless young
vitality echoes
songs burn to be sung
the thundering beat
of a hundred
million feet
echo endless in the city
that always dreams
but never sleeps
