City Skylines

I know where I am I know my responibilies

In this city I am here for my future capabilities

In this city sometimes I search for my lost identities

And sometimes I think I have too many disabilites

But I cannot have doubts during this time

For I know time is money and one mistake will cost a lifetime

And to ignore my surroundings would just be a crime

So for a reminder I stare at the skyline

I am here for a reason this city offers so much

Its 8am and the city sun begins to blush

My mind is blocked but the skyline reminds me of my luck

The sunrise and skyline move closer and effect me with one touch

This southern city puts at ease

And with lots of oppurntunites my mind is at peace

With a mind so sad I used think my life was just a tease

But with this southern skyline my inspiration has increased

For now I know where I am and where I am going

It may be hard but I know it will be a breeze

I stare at the skyline to remind me where I hope to be

Once a little girl this city skyline reminds her of her future me
