The City, with you.

The crowd around me heaves and threatens, forcing me to duck under the imposing

glare of a strangers watch

A light emits from deep within the life around me, caressing my being and holding me close

I catch your eye once again

Safety now, i’m washed with protection and the weight upon my shoulders lifts

I slowly stumble through this weeping abyss

Blind to the horrors around me, the despicable minds with dastardly ways fade completely

We finally embrace, my mind wrapping to yours like the lichen gripping to a cliffside.
