civil rights

I remember a time when ..

We didn’t have civil rights,

It was never about what the government

Liked.

We have so many freedoms,

Freedom of

Speech,

Education,

Freedom of press.

Let’s not forget the rest.

I remember a time when,

Civil rights caused a major change.

Look at all the goods we aimed.

This all started at war,

They felt bad for the black and poor.

Why couldn’t we just take a stand,

We had this all in our bare

Hands,

This is what you call a time in history

Civil rights has caused a major mystery.

I remember a time when,

All colors got alone,

We all didn’t have to be in our own zone.

Times like this was times to remember,

What about all the members?

Civil rights,

Civil rights,

Oh how did the time shine so bright,

We will never know,

Lets take a walk to our future

I see the lights
