Civilized

Mark 7:8 New English Translation (NET Bible)

8 Having no regard for the command of God, you hold fast to human tradition. “

Civilized

Western Civilization! Oh! How civilized we are?

Things accepted as common now seem a lot like the dark ages

Organized degradation and we cannot see that far

As we think the better has us locked up in spiritual cages

Sweeping freedom and its perception under every rug we see

So we can walk upon it without touching reality

Calling it constantly by the name: ”redemption” as we let it be

Covered with our footsteps not realizing our fatality

We will protect peace with force and destroy all that is against it

We will pulverize the lot and grind them back into dust

Most artificial is now embossed in the hearts of them who are for it

So that at any cost we defend our “artificial” fruits of lust
