Claim Yourself?

What horrid words dare challenge me?

Am I not my own person?

Claim Yourself,

So simple

Such perplexity

Claim myself?

I claim my,

right as a woman

I claim my,

waning sanity

I claim my,

desire to be unconventional

I claim my,

poetic rhythms of expression

yet,

do I accept it?

do I accept me?
