Clarity

Fri, 03/06/2015 - 23:57 -- Aleoaks

Maybe if I tilt my face
Still...
The lighting isn't quite right
I'm also having a bad hair day
I'd rather just stay out of sight

The dear lens
Sometimes
like windows into a world of vanity
Sometimes eyes that capture
and portray all beauty

And there are still angles of me
Unseen
Angles that show a person
A perspective of individuality

Tan, brown, pink
Colors
Flaws, freckles, ink
Scars, dents, veins

Words, voice, eloquence
Speech
Loudness, volume, silence
Slang, language, diversity

Show me now
Here
No filter, just exposure
of everything I hold dear

Capture me
Clear
with all my words, my flaws

Un-censor me
