The Cleaning

The Purification Washing ones heart of their crimes Stripping the shame of ones soul Clearing the mind of it's evil thoughts Starting over in the hopes of becoming whole once more Shedding toxins that plague their morality Leaving behind all that once was to wade in the emptiness of now Stepping into the shallows shyly Fearful and unsure yet so ready for the new. Stepping further into the deep Waiting wading waiting and wading Give in ...sink... slipping down under Release all that they held onto so tightly Watching it all drift away just like the hours of yesterday Their are renewed cleaned for another day.
