The Cleansing

As i look in the distance i see both eyes Looking back at me The smell of dandelions fills the air They sway with the gentle breeze Numerous times have i been asked What does it feel to live? I remain motionless and respond Whatever is in your heart A smile, a frown, the leaves or the sky Material objects I will miss What happens when they are gone What happens then I look down at this scenery Hoping i'll understand The quietness surrounds me As I try to make amends And finally I feel it The weight escapes my arms I smile and look at my hands I have been cleansed
