A Clear Sky is a Cloudy Background
Five things in my future,
Ten times in my past,
Twenty dollars for every time my brain went too fast.
Is it a gift obsessing over one thing, or is it worse,
To have one thousand ideas but know they're dispersed.
A clear sky could improve my mood,
If I could let the sun somehow reach me.
But my day's spent inside with these thousand things I repeat.
The burden is not much when examined, it's merely unsettling,
Because it gives me the sense that I always need bettering.
But it's fine to be late
It's fine to be wrong.
Its fine to take months
To write just one song.
The stress isn't ever worth
The loss of any joy.
The rain shoud never stop me
My smile won't be destroyed.
I should live in the moment
I might gain a litle trust.
I'm doing what I can
For what I can is enough.
