Cliché excuses

“There’s good in everyone”

That’s a lie!

Realized that as he watched me cry

Body shaking so badly I thought I would die

Eyes burning bright red light a stormy night sky

“Everybody deserves a second chance”

Fuck that!

I’d kill myself twice before I take his ass back

Light myself on fire with a newly lit match

Leaving only my name neatly carved on a plaque

“She didn’t mean to do it”

Oh, she meant it!

Even if that bitch is demented

Crazy as a fox cooking in the kitchen

What she did, that shit was intended

“you should’ve asked me for help”

YOU CAN’T HELP YOURSELF!

Where do you live? what’s your address?

That’s what I thought, it’s not where I rest

Go home and assist someone else

“That’s a stupid idea”

Boy please

My mistakes are my own , my success stories too

Right now I don’t have time to be bothered with you

Let me do me, and you do you

But do it elsewhere so I don’t bother you too

“Stop making excuses"

 I’m telling the truth!

How do you know that my truth isn’t true?

Why do you think I am lying to you ?

I apologize; I didn’t know you had proof
