The Cliff

Looking into your eyes

So deep, and clear, and bright

Gives me a sense of peace

That things will turn out right

I lose myself to you

Letting my fears fall free

I pray you will listen

That you might care about me

My heart quickens whenever you draw near

Is this even real?

A glance in your eyes tells me so

My mind begins to reel

All I know is you and me

And the feeling that is there

I want to hold this moment forever

Such an emotion is so rare

We are on the brink of something

We are at an edge, you see

And so the final question stands:

What will become of you and me?
