CLIMBING HIGH AGAIN

Climbing High Again.....

We, at times

walk a path that leads

through the valleys of life;

and as we walk,

there are the mountains

at which we gaze,

and we stare.

For surrounding our very being

the realization comes,

these mountains are enormous,

and they wrap around us

in majestic splendour.

These mountains

have an appearance,

an awe of their own,

seemingly insurmountable

by their very presence,

where the insurmountable

are barriers for not trying

and it is only when,

we start to climb,

step by careful step

that the top is reached.

We therefore must

not look down,

hold your head erect and high

look up, see

the path you that you must follow,

and when the pinnacle is reached,

surely now you know

the mountain is defeated,

and we can look down upon

an aberration,

and what is now minor,

before our eyes.

Throughout our lives,

at times we’ve felt surrounded

by invisible,

insurmountable mountains:

but by climbing

what we thought

was immense,

and on reaching the top,

the fear which was a barrier

but by us trying,

became comparably small.
