Clipped

Week 1

The barren garden

You replenish it with seeds

She begins to grow.

Week 2

She depends on you

Water flows throughout her roots

She thrives on your care.

Week 3

Pink, purple, white, blue

Her beauty is from your love

If only she knew.

Week 4

You love her sweet scent

The way she blooms in the sun

She is the true one

Week 5

Your passion has grown

Inspired by her great grace

Her flowers are clipped

Week 6

She feels the darkness

You place her in a small sea

She lives no longer.

Did you love her for her or for you?
