Cloak of Disguise

This cloak that drapes off my shoulders,

It hides the truth that lies beneath.

A power and strength that could move boulders,

Is the same that tied an anchor around my feet.

I have a mask that hides the true me,

And I have no idea how relieve myself of the pain.

Everyone around me does nothing but believe,

But I know exactly who to blame.

I am the one person, who can start the change,

The flame can only be started by me.

I must initiate the change within myself,

To make myself the better person, who I always wanted to be.
