Clock

It stares at me in my despair As I sit in my lonely chair The numbers on its face Watch me in my disgrace It likes to play a game To me time's all the same Hanging there upon the wall Not once appearing that it will fall It always flows at the same pace But rarely do I win the race But it's okay I will try tomorrow Maybe this time I won't end in sorrow
