The Clock
Tick, tock, tick, tock
Patiently waiting, as moments occur among the living
Human beings striving for eternity searching without a ceiling
Tick, tock, tick, tock
What are we waiting for then?
If something is coming please answer when?
Tick, tock, tick, tock
The delay for this event fuels my hatred for procrastination
It’s said that this event will be the answer to life’s situation
That after this event there will be no more crying, hunger nor pain
Now here’s the question: When will I be able to obtain
Tick, tock, tick, tock
How many more? Tell me how many more?
How much more in this life must i endure?
Tick, tock, tick, tock
As time passes by my experience gradually multiplies,
More death, more regrets, more violence, more lies
I feel like I’m ready to explode any second under all of this pressure
I’m a bomb in my head counting down the time i have to measure
3...., 2…, 1…, I am about to go, BOOM !
But i can’t let these thoughts win because the enemy is waiting for my doom
My soul, continually fighting in those heavy battles
But I become overwhelmed when the battlecry rattles
Tick, tock, tick, tock
Time is running out and I still can’t find a way
In a world filled with lies, is there still truth today?
Engulfed in darkness, a nocturnal only awake at night
I need the way, the truth and something to be my light
Tick, tock, tick, tock
Sin: The spiritual disease that infects us all
It leads to death, after it caused man to fall
Jesus I need you before my clock runs out of time
