The Clock Continues to Tick

The clock continues to tick

And one day it will stop

Nobody knows for sure when or how

But it will

As time goes on the clock will get slower

The clock will get more tired 

Than it ever used to before

But this doesn't mean the clock

Should stop ticking 

Before his time is done

The clock is worth something

To many more 

Than he ever may know

The clock will be 

A friend

A supporter

A companion 

But most importantly

The clock will be a difference,

A difference that the world 

Is ever so in need of

The clock will tick everyday
