As the clock ticks on

As the clock ticks on by,

My mind begins to wander.

The exploration of the unkown has begun.

All attempts to lay at peace are futile;

My mind is full.

All possible meanings transcend through the darkness,

These clouds are sure to bring a storm.

The only noise which can be heard is of the proximal surroundings,

Yet in my head there is a ravenous scream.

"I want out."

There is peace throughout the day,

Yet at night all thoughts come out to play.

There is no sweet escape,

There are only distorted shapes.

The extraction of thoughts must be produced eloquently into words. For those afraid to speak, speak of the best.
