Clocks

Their chimes go off at half hour intervals, their bells and whistles all unique Each one is special with carvings and memories, none of them oblique. The ticking of each passing arm is a heartbeat all its own These sounds all fill my heart with joy and make me feel at home. The Christmas clock sings carols through December, May, and June The grandfather clock sits high with a pendulum shining like the moon. As I sit with my eyes closed and picture the room, I can almost hear the bells These sounds flood my mind with many good times, his memory always dwells.
