close to home

two buildings exploded

caused from gas leaks

that permeated through the pipes

that blew up

in a instant

a blink of an eye

everything was vanished

smoke that spread the air killing its loving nature

people ran scared

hearts was racing in raging fear

lifeless bodies scattered

rubble broken up to pieces

homes destroyed

lives were taken

numbers of casualties accumulates

hits me home

i'm close to home

took place where i went to high school

where it all began of transformation to manhood

nothing but fond memories

although demolish, but its not all gone

but unfortunately

it seems like the only time we come together

is when tragedy strikes again

how about we come together

when we have events

get togethers, block parties

all it takes is a simple good morning
