The Closed Door

Slipping through time and space,

entering close to those an ancient gates,

doors extend both tall and wide,

it even seems a mile high

Something great must lie within,

the anticipation to open resides in your skin,

but how and who will open this door,

the door that leads to life forever more

One step is taken toward the entrance,

just one step feels you with indecision,

the wonder if I am truly ready,

or if by chance the door won't open

Suddenly as if it’s meant to be,

the doors begin to open for all to see,

finally the time has come,

for you to meet the true and only one
