The Closets
There seems to be a connection,
how it became one is something,
perplexing.
People trapped behind that door,
because others don't want to open it up.
The "straights" against the "gays"
seperates us. It lengthens the days.
Why be crude, why be cruel?
When everyone you know,
deserves kindness, not gruel.
Help shine the light, on the dark of our youth.
Bring them up bright, and we'll never lose,
The acceptance they bring, and the never ending ring.
From people of the closets, to people of the world.
They'll make the transition, to tell the world.
