Closing The Curtains

When slumber cannot be achieved, it seems a human mind is easily deceived. Revisiting jovial memories and relationships awry, can keep one up for hours, victimized with bloodshot eyes. Dreams can be a portal, that reveal feats of superhuman proportions, or those of which are mortal. Yet the reality of the lesson, is to be awakened. Open not just physical body but one’s psychological haven. The past may be cherished or cursed, yet it cannot return. The future is not always guaranteed. Plans may not be easily discerned. The limelight is on the present, the one true factor, that can differentiate a great achiever, or a pathetic slacker.
