Cloud of Anger

Dear, Future Self

Your self motivation will only get you where you want to be in life.

Your ability to forgive can only protect you.

Your work ethic will cause others to follow.

Your leadership will motivate others.

Your professionalism will impress many.

But, your anger…

When you get angry to forget about all of that. Your mind becomes clouded with the “what if’s” and you begin to make mistakes, why ? All of the sudden you’re not good enough for anything and you don’t deserve anything, why ? You don’t just lose who you are, you’re choosing to ignore it. As if everything that is you, packs up its bags and leaves, but you’re actually just avoiding it. The emotions wrap themselves around you before you realize what’s going on. The overwhelming feelings flood through your mind, the weight on your shoulder takes over, and your head begins to sink. Is it really worth it ? If so, then why ?

My purpose is to go through this so you don’t have to. Don’t ignore what I am doing for you.

Sincerely, Younger You
