Clouds

Dark Clouds all around me Creeping up like raindrops on a humid day No sunshine or bright sky is seen No happiness sent my way They’re been around a long long time The Empire of Rome has seen it so Shakespeare, Mozart, Van Ghough all drew lines Tied the clouds around with bows But just for a little while Did they help, let a little shine seep through? Of course, this all ended with a dial Of Reality’s call, Calling Calling Calling YOU It doesn’t cease, it always prevails And It never misses a stop You Can try escaping , on to the rail But it knocks you down Has you spinning Like Spinning Top Maybe one day My clouds will fade And I’ll smile at the world, like a new born child And I’ll no longer be afraid Of reality , strong or mild
