Clouds of Black.
Everything begins with a spark
The spark of a flame, a burning desire
The fire is ignited, let it burn and the ashes crumble
Watch my hopes and dreams go up in smoke and turn into a nightmare
Take a breath
Breathe in the chemo and exhale my tears
Flick the ashes into the wind; let them fly into the past
Memories a distant view, you threw them to dust
Bury the regret in the ground, disfigure them in the dirt
That’s what you did to your body, my burning reality.
