The Clouds Clear Away

Breaking out of my shell

A drop of dew

Softened my cell

Granting me freedom

My arms reach out

But grasp nothing

I am but a sprout

Yet I venture forward

Journeying through the darkness

Afraid of every turn

But I now see a brightness

And at last emerge victorious

Curiosity brims inside

These feelings are new

Joy, wonder, and pride

I feel myself a marvel!
