Cloudy judgment

(poems go here) Rain trickles down my windowed pane, exposing the emotion of pain; your sudden change of direction for our relationship is what hurts me the most. Caught in a silent storm of despair and a furious whirlwind of mixed feelings. No sound of laughter or sight of your angelic smile, I used to feel your warmth from thousands of miles. Your Skin softer than a feather, with a personality that glistens like misty rain on a hot summer day. This relationship was one I did not want to drain but sometimes you have to let a river flow so that it can expand, into an ocean where you can not only dip your hands in but drown in a deep mystery of waves. Until then you remain like a stream, silent, smooth sailing but never settle.
