a cloudy winter night

Dear the clouds hovering my head,

You sit outside my window,

like a bird on a perch;

a seasonal rain.

You used to come but once in a blue moon,

but as the season changes,

the days became shorter,

and I would find myself in your company once again.

I cannot find reason for why you appear,

and sometimes you only come with the set of the sun;

a streetlight that only flickers at night.

You turn my daisies black,

and my roses gray.

You keep me awake at night,

and alseep for eternity.
