Coastal Waters

Slithering, sliding and softly gliding;

Reaching hidden crevices, unknown caves.

White horses dive carelessly, ripples riding.

Hissing selfishly defiant white waves.

Mumbling, meandering out to sea.

Delivering its delicate beauty;

Serendipity proclaimed all to see.

Completing its normal tour of duty.

The drizzling spray of white water rafters;

Leaping with frenzy and climbing above.

Deluge of water challenging masters.

Gently needing treatment with a kid-glove.

And the rich azure sea screeches and sings.

Just beyond the toll of the eight bell rings.
